The Musk family is quickly expanding, it seems. Errol Musk, the dad of Tesla CEO Elon Musk, has revealed in a new interview that he secretly welcomed his second child with 35-year-old stepdaughter Jana Bezuidenhout. The pair gave birth to a baby girl in 2019, just one year after welcoming their son Elliot Rush, who is now five years old.
“She wasn’t planned,” Errol told The Sun. “But I mean, we were living together. She [Jana] stayed here for about 18 months after Rushi was born.” But it was during this time, he seemed to realize that a relationship with Jana wasn’t exactly working out the way he had hoped. Errol added, “But I realized she’s two generations behind whereas her mother was one generation behind when I married her.”

Jana is the daughter of Errol’s ex-wife Heide Bezuidenhout who he had raised since she was four, and while it’s unclear how long the couple was together, the 76-year-old says that Jana is “getting on” with life and “if I’m still around she might wind up back with me.” Further in the interview, Elon’s father shared his belief that the “only thing” humans are on Earth for is to reproduce, insisting that “if I could have another child I would. I can’t see any reason not to.”
“The only thing we are on Earth for is to reproduce. If I had thought about it then Elon or Kimbal wouldn’t exist.” As one can imagine, Errol’s daughters were “shocked” upon finding out he was dating Jana because they had grown up with her and deemed her their sister (and technically their half-sister). He openly expressed that the girls were certainly uneasy about the romance but that certainly didn’t stop him from having two children with her.
Errol appears to be incredibly sexually active considering how six other women are said to be coming after him, claiming to be the father of their child. He recalled having some fun nights out when he stayed in Johannesburg and said that there was a possibility that a woman out there could have conceived a child of his, but he refers to the others as “opportunists.”
“There was a period in Johannesburg in the eighties that I was going out with different woman every night. I had plenty of dates. So it’s quite conceivable that one of them could actually come back and say, this is your child. It’s possible.”
He declared, ”But I haven’t had anything genuine presented to me. But I’ve got a lot of people claiming.”
