The TV host and her wife were at home on July 4 when the robbery occurred but didn’t even know the robbery occurred. According to a report by TMZ, there was no indication if they had any contact with the suspect or suspects who stole jewelry. They managed to enter the home through a back door but surveillance footage was unable to capture the robbery.
However, Ellen has upgraded her security since then by hiring a new security company, installing sensors, and cameras throughout the property along with hiring armed patrol guards.
