Ellen DeGeneres Is Reportedly “At the End of Her Rope” Amid Rumors That She’s ‘Mean’
Ellen DeGeneres doesn’t seem to be everyone’s favorite talk show host anymore. For the past few months, fans and staff have reportedly claimed that Ellen is not the nice and sweet host as she appears to be on TV.

Earlier this month, her employees slammed her for leaving them in the dark about the show amid the coronavirus pandemic, causing “anxiety among crew members,” according to a source who spoke with Variety. An ex-employee of the Ellen DeGeneres Show even claimed the speculation surrounding the comedian’s “mean” behavior is true. In addition to those reports about her staff’s experience with the 62-year-old, Ellen’s former bodyguard Tom Majercak also spoke out and branded her “cold” and “demeaning.”
There’s a load of other reports on Ellen, and it looks like it starting to take a toll on her. A source told Us Weekly: “Ellen is at the end of her rope. “She thought this was all just sour grapes from a few haters. But it’s not a passing thing — the hits just keep coming.”
Following all the controversy, many fans took to social media to share their disappointment in the star. One Twitter user tweeted, “Late to the party but reading all these stories from people of their disappointing experiences from Ellen DeGeneres being mean… yikes, I knew she wasn’t completely nice but never thought she had a revolting personality off-camera 😳”
