Ellen DeGeneres Accused Of Tormenting Houseworkers By Alleged Employee

Ellen DeGeneres has been under fire for her alleged toxic workplace on the “Ellen DeGeneres” show, however, now former employees are coming forward and saying that she has the same energy with her staff at home.

According to The Daily Mail,  an alleged former employee who claims to have worked at DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi’s California homes, says that the star’s behavior is worse at home!

“My belief is that someone’s real personality comes out at home,” the unidentified employee reportedly said. “So after everything that has been said about her at work, you can imagine how terrible Ellen is going to be at home when her guard is down.”

The employee claims that Ellen would complain
about her coffee not being frothed, food being put in the wrong bowl or other minor issues.

“She treated you like you were nothing,” claimed the employee adding that Ellen liked to “yell” in an “incredibly condescending tone.” “She was going to torture you and you were just going to sit there and listen to it because you were being paid.”

Apparently, the talk show host also liked to fire people.

“I was always stressed out and on the verge of tears. I remember going home sometimes thinking I just hated my life,” the ex-staffer claimed. “You stick it out because quitting looks bad on your resume but everyone in Hollywood knows what’s going on there.”

Meanwhile, “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” Just announced its Sept. 21 return date.

“I can’t wait to get back to work and back to our studio. And, yes, we’re gonna talk about it,” the 62-year-old talk show host said.
