Eliza Reign Sues Baby Father Future For Defaming Her Name
Eliza Reign has had enough! As we previously reported, Future filed a lawsuit against Eliza, accusing her of defamation and ruining his reputation. The rapper said that he did have a sexual relationship with Eliza between 2016 and 2018 but claims things went left when she started “harassing” him with daily phone calls once she became pregnant.
While a judge recently threw out the majority of Future’s claims including his request for an injunction, he was allowed to file an amended complaint with better arguments. Now, according to court documents obtained by The Blast, Eliza has just filed a countersuit against him in federal court. Not only does she accuse him of defaming her name, but she says he’s refusing to admit he is the biological father even after a DNA test proved he was indeed the dad.
She writes,
“For over a year, the Plaintiff herein has refused to acknowledge his paternity of the parties’ minor child, has never paid a penny in support for the minor child, and in fact, is never even met the minor child. Moreover, the Plaintiff has violated numerous orders of the court in the underlying paternity case pertaining to both DNA testing and discovery, and continues to stall and delay those matters, and use his other related proceedings (the preceding herein and his similarly frivolous domestic violence proceedings) to attempt to exert pressure upon the Defendant to dismiss or unfavorably resolve the paternity matter,” The Blast quotes.
According to docs, obtained by the news site and TMZ, Eliza says Future once sent her a text saying “let your lawyers speak for u at this point! u bogus, stole my last name now u want to b relevant jus fall back off the net trying to prove a point.” She claims he also texted her, “TMZ this bitch stole my last name I think that’s what I heard! I will never respect a clout chasing bitch NEVERRRRRRR FOH.”
On top of this, Eliza claims Future has made her life a living hell for her allegedly claiming she is someone who sleeps around with various men in an attempt to get pregnant for her own personal financial gain! In addition to this, she said he allegedly threatened to have her killed — while she was pregnant “in an attempt to coerce her to terminate her pregnancy.” Eliza says she took these threats seriously enough to report them to police, TMZ reports.
She is now suing Future for defamation and emotional distress.
