On the heels of Remy Ma denying allegations of cheating on her husband Papoose with one of her Chrome23 battle rappers, Eazy The Block Captain, the latter is now speaking out. Eazy claims, “There’s a lot of rumors out that I will address very soon.”
As we shared earlier this week, Remy and her 15-year-old marriage became a trending topic after Geechi Gotti, a battle rapper at her Chrome 23 rap battle, made allegations that she was unfaithful towards her partner, and had relations with fellow battle rapper Eazy The Block Captain.
At a recent battle, Geechi brought up allegations as he tried to defeat his opponent, leaving nothing on the table as he roasted Eazy and dragged Remy and Pap into the mix. Geechi mentioned an alleged incident that happened in June, which sparked rumors online of Papoose allegedly knocking out Eazy for “getting too cozy” with Remy at an event called #TheGrudgeCard.
Remy ended up going on X, formerly Twitter, to shoot down all the claims. She said, “I’d like to apologize to everyone that was disappointed tonight because we couldn’t get 3 full rounds from all the opponents… I tried…and can y’all pleasee STOP with the Eazy & Pap LIES. There’s NO place like Chrome! Right back at it; see y’all in August #Chrome23.”

Three months later, Geechi resurfaced the incident and tacked on the cheating allegations as he rapped at the most recent rap battle. He said, “I don’t give a f**k if you’re f**king this n***a, just tell him to stop screwing the business…”
He continued, ‘Y’all the poster child symbol for Black love… Every interview he show his admiration and tell the world how he think his woman the greatest… N***a he held you down in prison for six years, I know it was nice, he cried big tears, he stood by you by your biggest accomplishments front row giving you big cheers. Man you got a beautiful baby girl who’s oh so amazing. He’ll be damned if he lose you to this bozo with braces… This n***a behind closed doors running his mouth like a h*e supposed to do.”
Remy ended up doing an interview right after the battle and kept a straight face as she denied any truth to Geechi’s claims of her cheating on Papoose. Instead, she called him out for calling a “b*tch” on stage. She said, “At the end, I was like hold up, hold up.” She started freestyling, “I started out in battle rap, I been at for 15 years, and I don’t recall Geechi being one of Pap’s friends, he call me a b*tch one more time, n***a might not have got his back end.” Remy added that Geechi was basically pulling his content from the blogs.
Sometime following Remy’s comments, Eazy The Block Captain took to his social media and broke his silence. Taking to his Instagram Story he wrote, “If it’s not me, nobody speaks on my behalf.. There’s a lot of rumors out there that I will address very soon.”
He also posted a statement from his apparent publicist, Nicole Sabrina, who spoke out ahead of him, without his permission. Reportedly, the publicist told different media outlets that he would be making a statement on his own platform, and the woman allegedly claimed that they’re shopping around an exclusive statement once he does that. However, Eazy has denied this per the above message.
His publicist’s statement following read:
On 9/22/23, I issued a statement to some media outlets advising that @eazyblockcapt1 would be making a statement today and that the exclusive story is available. This was done without Eazy’s consent. I understand that this is a serious error, and I take full responsibility for my actions.
My words and intent are now being twisted at the sacrifice of a client and I cannot have that. Eazy and I have worked together for a few years, and while it has been some time since our last project, I took it upon myself to begin discovery on potential business opportunities from a PR standpoint.
Let me be clear, no amount of money was requested for an interview with Eazy. I made it clear that he would be dropping a statement on his own platforms first and that I have received offers for an exclusive interview after the release of that statement. Eazy did not and does not want to profit from an interview, he only wanted to release a statement telling his side of the story. I love our media and blog partners, and understand they have a duty to report the latest information on trending topics, but any blog outlet reporting anything different is not the whole truth.
I have apologized to him and his team, and I am working with them to ensure that this does not happen again. My team and I have also taken steps to review our internal procedures to prevent this type of mistake from happening in the future. My intentions were pure but have been taken in a way that does not shed good light on Eazy and any party involved and for that, I apologize.
I value my relationship with Eazy and all of my clients, and I am committed to providing them with the highest quality of service. I regret any inconvenience, embarrassment, confusion, or misunderstanding that this incident may have caused.
