Drunk Mom Orders $5,900 Uber To Ukraine ‘To Help’

A UK mom ordered a £4,500, which is almost $6,000 uber to Ukraine after having one too many!

Leoni Fildes tells Metro UK that she woke up to a call from the bank notifying her that Uber was trying to take a payment of £4,578 over nine times.

The 34-year-old mom says that she had a night non the town for her friend’s birthday on Saturday, March 5, and the topic of conversation was the current invasion of Ukraine by Russia, and what they would do if their partners had to go fight,

After having a few double pink gins, the rest of the night was a blur and Leoni had a massive pending charge!

‘’I’m 34 – I should know better, she said. The next day I didn’t remember doing it. I was like ‘oh my god.’ I woke up to my bank ringing me, thinking my card had been [used fraudulently]”

“I think it was me – sorry. Normally, Uber allows a trip in advance but they’ve recently stopped it so I was lucky. I remember when we were looking, we said, Oh, we’ll get the comfort one. That’s dearer – the XL one,” she added.

Ironically, the Uber would get her a ride to Ukraine but not to her home which was just ten minutes away.
