A man was arrested after he broke into the cancer ward and drank two large bottles of hand sanitizer in Lincolnshire, England.
According to the Daily Star UK, David Dudley Miller,39, was arrested after he was found in a bed at the Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital in Grimsby. A hospital employee stated that they found Miller lying on a bed in front of a window and the room smelled of urine. He also stated ingesting the sanitizer had made him sick and caused him to throw up blood.
“I need help. I want to stop drinking. I know that if I left here, I would try to steal alcohol. I have had seizures in the past. I apologise for what I have done but it was an act of desperation. I apologise to all the staff and I have said that it was wrong and I was sorry.”
