A driver slammed into a group of cyclists who were participating in a BLM protest near Madison Square Park in New York City.

The incident occurred during a Black Lives Matter “Justice Ride” when the driver plowed into the group around 7:17 p.m. According to the New York Post, a video clip shows the driver honking their horn while driving into the crowd as witnesses watched in horror. Two victims were injured during the scene: a 19-year-old woman was transported to Bellevue Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries and a 37-year-old man who refused medical treatment.
Authorities reported the driver was operating a 2014 black Infiniti QX6.

The incident is currently under investigation since the driver is still at large and no arrests have been made. Similar events have occurred throughout the country where drivers have plowed through protests as a form of defiance or seriously harm others supporting the movement.
