It looks like an arrest was made at Drake’s mansion in Toronto after someone allegedly attempted to break into the rappers home, according to @abcnews. This latest update comes one day after a security guard was shot outside of his home.
According to the news outlet, a person tried to break into Drake’s mansion on Wednesday but was detained by police. As we previously reported, Paul Krawczyk of the Toronto Police Service’s Integrated Gun and Gang Task Force, announced that the shooting occurred when a male security guard was shot while on duty outside the residence’s gate around 2 a.m. on Tuesday. The suspects escaped in a vehicle following the incident.

Krawczyk also stated that the security guard was found with a gunshot wound and is currently in serious condition at the hospital. It has not been confirmed by the authorities if the Canadian rapper was present at the residence during the shooting, but Krawczyk also mentioned that Drake’s team is actively assisting in the investigation, which was shared during a press briefing on Tuesday.
“This is no different than any other investigation. It’s maybe more high profile because there’s more people here, but we treat it like any other incident,” Krawczyk said. “We’ll be using all our resources. Our teams will be doing as much as they can to investigate this.”

Since the Compton rapper dropped his latest diss track ‘Not Like Us’ many people on the internet have been debating on who won the rap battle and some people are calling for it all to come to an end.
