Oop! Did Drake seemingly reference his beef with Kendrick Lamar during his recent interview with Bobbi Althoff? In their first interview since squashing their own spat, Drake and Bobbi hopped in another bed together to talk music, parenthood, and a bunch of other odd subjects.
During the interview on Bobbi’s revamped podcast, ‘Not This Again,’ she tells Drake she and her friends haven’t been playing his music for two years — which marks when they had their falling out after she interviewed him on her first podcast, ‘The Really Good Podcast’ in July 2023.
Drake replied, “Maybe not. Your friends are from LA. They’ve probably been off it for the last little bit, to be honest.” Bobbi dryly added, “Maybe for no reason in particular, you know.”

Drake named-dropped Bobbi’s sister Lexi and joked, “I feel like I could go back in Lexi’s Story archive and probably find some sketchy stuff, maybe. I’m gonna find out.” Bobbi added, “Do you know Lexi is a very big fan of your music?” Drake jokingly asked, “Was that approved to say today? Lex? ‘A very big fan?’”
Lexi spoke off-camera, “Those words never came out of my mouth.” Drake replied, “Wow.” Bobbi said, “Nevermind.” Drake settled, “Okay. So you rounded it off a little bit. Okay. Not a very big fan.” He proceeded to egg things on and asked, “What did you—you’re from LA right? Like born and raised?” Lexi relied, “I mean, in the area.”

Drake immediately chuckled while repeating her answer. Bobbi asked, “What are you getting at?” He shrugged and laughingly said, “No, I was just asking. ‘In the area?’ Okay.” While looking directly in the camera, he asked, “Nobody wants to claim it now, though. Nobody wants to bang it around the gang, huh? ‘In the area.’”
Drake proceeded to proudly represent his hometown of Toronto, Canada. While throwing up a hand gesture, he said, “I know where I’m from. I’m from that six. You know what I’m saying. If you ask me, I’m throwing that sh*t in yo face. I’m throwing that sh*t up in that f**king face.”
