Drake has some words for Breakfast Club Host, Charlamagne tha God.

In case you missed it, during a recent episode of The Brilliant Idiots podcast, Charlamagne shared his thoughts on Drizzy’s new single with SZA titled “Slime You Out.” Like always, he offered his honest thoughts. Charlamagne said, “Drake put out a song last Friday and nobody cared. It came out last Friday and people just started talking about the lyrics yesterday.” He continued, “That’s not Drake-like,” Charlamagne says. “He’s gonna be fine, regardless.” He added, “I didn’t hear no rapping on it…Unless I didn’t get through the whole song.”

Well, it looks like Drake may have caught wind of his recent and past comments… and now he has something to say directly to Charlamagne Tha God. In a series of IG Story Posts, the rapper shared a video of the talk show host criticizing him multiple times. In another slide, Drake says, “Are you ok Lenard?? You kinda weirding me out g. Like you really obsessed with me or something for years like you look in the mirror and wish you saw my reflection type sh*t.. whatever you gotta do to let it out I’m sure your 435 loyal fans will stand by you ya f*cking goof.” It’s clear that Charlamagne’s God must’ve hurt his feelings this time as Drake had more to say! The award-winning megastar continued by calling him an “off-brand Morris Chestnut.

Now, like Drake mentioned, this is not the first time CTG has criticized him. Earlier this year, Charlamagne discussed Drake’s on Travis Scott’s Utopia. He said at the time, “Drake always says something that’s supposed to sound tough, but it just doesn’t. He then brought up his past beef with fellow rapper Pusha-T. “Drake, if you want it with Pusha, just set it up again. You still owe him anyway, honestly.”

During Monday’s episode of the Breakfast Club, Charlamagne tha God responded to Drake recently calling him out. Here’s what he had to say:

Despite what appears to always be hate coming from CTG, he has praised the “Laugh Now Cry Later” artist. In 2012, he said, “Are we still in a Drake era?’” He asked before explaining, “When you’re No. one, two, and three on the charts, I think that answers your question. When it comes to streaming, when it comes to radio, he’s still the guy.”
