Dr. Umar Johnson shared his thoughts on social media regarding the federal allegations against Diddy which has left folks on social media with mixed feelings.

In the video Dr. Umar spoke about Diddy’s legal issues and emphasized that these accusations are unrelated to domestic violence, child exploitation, or any of the scandalous rumors that have been circulating. “What they’re accusing him of, federally, is transporting women across state lines for the purpose of engaging in sex—essentially prostitution,” Dr. Umar said. “This isn’t about Cassie, underage girls, or those so-called freak-offs. It’s about sexual trafficking.”

Dr. Umar stated unequivocally that although he does not endorse prostitution, he is concerned that the media is diverting attention away from the actual charges at hand. “I do not support men paying for the sugar box. I do not support Black women having to sexually exploit themselves to pay their bills. But let’s be clear—prostitution is the oldest female profession in the world.”

He went on to stress that the allegations against Diddy are significantly more serious than what is being highlighted in the news. “The accusation is interstate sexual trafficking. That is the issue we should be discussing,” he remarked.

Dr. Umar voiced his frustration regarding the absence of solid evidence being put forth. “I have not seen or heard any concrete proof against Sean Puffy Combs,” he contended.

“I haven’t read it in the New York Times, I haven’t seen it on CNN, and I haven’t found it in the Philadelphia Inquirer. So where is the proof?”

The social commentator also criticized the media for revisiting Cassie’s previous allegations, noting that they are unrelated to the federal indictment at hand. “I keep hearing about Cassie, but what does she have to do with these charges?” he asked. “Why are we hearing about baby oil? Is owning baby oil now a federal crime?”
