Dr. Fauci Says Concerts & Live Music Events Could Return In The Fall

Gets your outfits and ticket money ready because Dr. Fauci says concerts and live music events could be returning in the fall of this year.

Per The New York Times,  Dr. Anthony Fauci announced on a virtual conference on Saturday (Jan. 9) that the performing-arts world may be opening back up outside before the end of 2021.

Although the timeline given was vague, Fauci said, “If everything goes right, this is will occur some time in the fall of 2021, so that by the time we get to the early to mid-fall, you can have people feeling safe performing onstage as well as people in the audience… I think you can then start getting back to almost full capacity of seating. We’ll be back in the theaters — performers will be performing, audiences will be enjoying it. It will happen.”

Dr. Fauci also added that masks will still be required for some time, despite the return of larger events.
