Dr. Fauci Reports COVID-19 Vaccine Is “Safe” And The Process Wasn’t Rushed

Dr. Anthony Fauci said during a press conference Thursday that the new COVID-19 vaccine is safe to use and the process was not rushed to fit any political agenda.

The announcement was made during a White House coronavirus task force briefing, the first in several months. Dr. Fauci stated, “The process of the speed did not compromise at all safety, nor did it compromise scientific integrity. It was a reflection of the extraordinary scientific advances in these types of vaccines, which allowed us to do it in months that actually took years before,”

He assured the public that the vaccines developed by Pfizer and Moderna were safe and weren’t rushed to fit a political agenda.

“We really need to put to rest any concept that this was rushed in an inappropriate way.”

Fauci added during the conference that everyone should continue to wear masks and practice social distancing until the vaccine is readily available at the end of December.

“If you’re fighting a battle and the cavalry is on the way, you don’t stop shooting. You keep going until the cavalry gets here,”
