Greene is seen in the video clip preparing for last week’s votes on the speaker of the house while Dr. Dre’s “Still D.R.E.” plays in the background. According to Newsweek, Greene’s critics mocked the video, which was later removed by the mogul himself. He also issued a statement to TMZ in which he stated that he does not give politicians permission to use his music, particularly Greene, who has expressed very divisive views. “I don’t license my music to politicians, especially someone as divisive and hateful as this one,” he explained.

After learning about Dr. Dre’s stance on the issue, Greene replied, “While I appreciate the creative chord progression. I would never play your words of violence against women and police officers, and your glorification of the thug life and drugs.”

However, Greene faced criticism for her statement as Twitter users informed her that she used his music without permission. You stole his music and now you criticize his lyrics. Why did you choose that song in the first place if you find it so offensive?  Hope he sues you,” one user wrote. Another said, “You literally played Dr. Dre’s words. He told you to stop with a letter from his lawyers. Your reply is basically like saying you didn’t want to go to a party you weren’t invited to.”
