Dr. Dre Asks Judge To Declare Him Single Amid Bitter Divorce

Dr. Dre has had enough and wants out of his dysfucntional marriage pronto.

The music mogul can’t take any more drama in his messy divorce from Nicole Young and is asking a judge to declare him single.

TMZ reports that Dre’s lawyer, Laura Wasser, filed legal documents requesting a bifurcation for Dre, which means giving both parties single status, with the opportunity to divide assets later.

In the documents, Dre says that Nicole’s “false allegations of domestic violence” have made it clear that there will be no amicable resolution and that she is not going to make the divorce process smooth. He initially filed in 2020, and she has apparently made his life a living hell since.

As we reported recently, Dr. Dre‘s estranged wife Nicole Young had been denied a restraining, despite alleged threats she claims he made against her in an unreleased song, recently previewed on social media.

Young requested an emergency domestic violence restraining order, citing, because of Dre’s claims of her being a “greedy bitch and a perjurer,” “he’s upped the ante and is now outright threatening me to keep my mouth shut or else.” Despite attorney Samantha Spector’s filing Young’s claims, it’s reported a judge feels differently and denied the request due to ‘insufficient evidence.”

As of now, the judge has not ruled.
