Martin Luther King Jr’s daughter, Bernice is speaking out after Donald Trump claimed that he brings in bigger crowds than famous speakers like MLK.

As we previously reported, the ex-President talked to reporters at Mar-A-Lago on Thursday and couldn’t help but brag about the size of his rally on January 6, 2021, before the Capitol riot. Trump insists that people often underestimate the size of his crowd. During the conversation he told people to compare photos from January 6 with images from Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech, claiming that he surpasses the civil rights leader in crowd size.

In response to the news, Bernice King shared a message on her X account and stated how she wishes people would leave her father alone. “Absolutely not true. I really wish that people would stop using my father to support fallacy.”

Trump is currently involved in another size debate, following a recent one where Kamala Harris’ team posted on Truth Social, indirectly criticizing Trump’s crowd size by comparing it to hers.

Trump is not only focused on comparing crowd sizes with Harris but also on debating her. He mentioned to reporters that he has agreed to three debates against Kamala Harris, awaiting her side to finalize the terms. While their debates may not draw a million attendees, Trump boldly asserts that even Martin Luther King Jr. couldn’t bring in such a large crowd.
