Donald Trump’s former lawyer Michael Cohen is back in the slammer after he reportedly violated the terms of his release while on house arrest.
Per his lawyer, Cohen was taken to the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, which is a federal jail.
His attorney, Jeffrey Levine, said that his arrest is due to him going outdoors and violating the terms of his release after a photo of him surfaced eating at a restaurant around July 2. He is supposed to serve his sentence at home.

As we reported, the disgraced lawyer was initially released from prison due to concerns he could catch COVID-19. His lawyer also added that Cohen failed to agree to a monitoring agreement. He will be sent to a secure institution.
Cohen was initially sentenced to three years for crimes related to a scheme where he allegedly paid hush money to two women who claimed they had affairs with Donald Trump before he became president. Of course, Trump has denied these allegations.
