Former President Donald Trump revealed that he and his wife Melania Trump received the vaccine in January and he is urging his supporters to do the same.

In an exclusive interview with Fox News, Trump said he would fully recommend his supporters to take the COVID-19 vaccine and said it is a “safe” and “great” vaccine despite opposition from his Republican colleagues. “I would recommend it and I would recommend it to a lot of people that don’t want to get it and a lot of those people voted for me, frankly. But again, we have our freedoms and we have to live by them and I agree with that also. But it is a great vaccine. It is a safe vaccine and it is something that works,” Trump tells reporter Maria Bartiromo.

He also noted that several pharmaceutical companies and the FDA have been working hard to make and distribute the vaccines quickly.

In addition to recommending the vaccine to his supporters, Trump continued on his stance about immigration and claims illegal immigrants will destroy the country if something is done about it.
“Today, they are coming in. You take a look. They are coming in from foreign countries. I see they are coming in from Yemen. They are coming in from the Middle East. They are coming in from everywhere,” he said. “They are dropping them off and they are pouring into our country. It is a disgrace. They are going to destroy our country if we don’t do something about it.”
He recently made headlines after criticizing Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah and said he was in full support of Piers Morgan after he was fired from ‘Good Morning, Britain.’
