Elon Musk is currently receiving backlash for making what some have labeled “creepy” remarks regarding Taylor Swift following her endorsement of Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the upcoming 2024 US presidential election.
The 53-year-old billionaire expressed his thoughts on X (previously known as Twitter) on September 11, just hours after Taylor Swift announced her voting choice for the upcoming election on Instagram. The Grammy-winning artist posted a photo of herself with her cat, Benjamin Button, seemingly taking a jab at Donald Trump’s running mate, JD Vance, while captioning it with the phrase: “Childless Cat Lady.”
Musk, who has consistently shown his support for Trump and Vance, reacted to Swift’s endorsement by saying: “Fine Taylor… you win… I will give you a child and guard your cats with my life.” The controversial post from the father of twelve has generated significant backlash on social media, with many users describing the comment as strange.

As we previously shared, right after the presidential debate between Trump and Harris on Tuesday, Swift went to Instagram to formally endorse the Democratic candidates.
“I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election. I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos,” the “Fortnight” singer wrote in the caption. “I was so heartened and impressed by her selection of running mate @timwalz, who has been standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman’s right to her own body for decades.”
