Donald Trump Says Coronavirus Pandemic Is ‘Worse Than Pearl Harbor’ And ‘World Trade Center Attacks’

Another day, another “shocking” comment made by Donald Trump. This time, the President is make headlines for comparing the coronavirus pandemic to Pearl Harbor in World War II and the 9/11 attacks.

While speaking at the White House on Wednesday, Trump said that the latest pandemic is the worst attack we’ve ever had on our country. “This is really the worst attack we’ve ever had. This is worse than Pearl Harbor. This is worse than the World Trade Center. There’s never been an attack like this,” Trump told reporters.

“And it should’ve never happened. It could’ve been stopped at the source. It could’ve been stopped in China. It should’ve been stopped right at the source, and it wasn’t.” Trump added.

“It could have been stopped…” This is probably true as multiple reports previously stated that Trump had been briefed prior to the virus several times before the global outbreak.

Despite this, Trump also took to Twitter today share that the coronavirus task force is continuing to “work” on tackling the virus. However, he said the group may add or subtract members and that it would focus on safety, reopening the country, and vaccines and therapeutics.
