Donald Trump, former U.S. President and presumptive GOP nominee for the 2024 Presidential elections, is again rallying up residents and rappers; this time in North Philadelphia, where rapper OT7 Quanny endorsed him as South Philly native Amber Rose deemed him “the G.O.A.T” from afar.
Taking his talents to the streets of North Philadelphia, Trump held a rally at Temple University’s Liacouras Center on Saturday evening (June 22).
While there, Trump discussed a wide range of topics, including the economy, immigration, and crime — the latter of which he told a full crowd of Philadelphians that he would take steps to crack down on if he was reelected as president. Donald Trump said, “Few communities have suffered more under the Joe Biden regime than Philadelphia. We are going to liberate our once great cities and make Philadelphia better and more beautiful than ever before.”
As Trump spoke ill of Biden, Temple University students protested against him and Biden even held his own event in North Philly in response to Trump’s event. There, State Representative Malcolm Kenyatta fired off, “Donald Trump famously said ‘bad things happen’ in Philly. Donald Trump is the bad thing. We ended his presidency a few years ago — he doesn’t accept that — but we’re going to make sure he never gets back to the White House.”
One of the hot takes from Donald Trump’s rally in North Philly involves him introducing rapper OT7 Quanny on stage. Trump said, “We have a Philly rapper, he’s going places. He’s got so much cash he doesn’t know what to do with it. OT7 Quanny.”
While trying to find OT7 Quanny in the crowd, Donald Trump finally noticed him and said, “I love that hat on you.” The camera panned to show the rapper wearing a red MAGA (Make America Great Again) hat. Trump added, “Thank you. It’s a great honor to have you.”
Meanwhile, taking to her Instagram Story on Saturday (June 22), Amber Rose, who has previously gone viral posing with Donald Trump and his wife Melania Trump, reposted a video of Trump in Philadelphia and captioned the post, “The GOAT is in my city! 🔥🔥🔥🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸.”
