Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) has long been a supporter of President Donald Trump — going as far as helping him get elected. However, she’s ruffled his feathers with her continued push to release the Jeffrey Epstein files. He’s not only withdrawn his support of her, but has called her a “traitor.”
Donald Trump Slams Marjorie Taylor Greene As ‘Lightweight’ And ‘Traitor’ Amid Her Push To Release Jeffrey Epstein Files
On Friday (November 14), MTG continued to push for the release of Jeffrey Epstein files. She took to X and wrote:
“Jeffrey Epstein was the spider that wove one of the most intricate webs of global politics, rich powerful elites, intel operations, and was the most famous convicted pedophile in history. But to believe that there aren’t others that operate like him would be naive.”
Soon after, Trump took to Truth Social and wrote:
“I am withdrawing my support and Endorsement of “Congresswoman” Marjorie Taylor Greene, of the Great State of Georgia. Over the past few weeks, despite my creating Record Achievements for our Country including, a Total and Complete Victory on the Shutdown, Closed Borders, Low Taxes, No Men in Women’s Sports or Transgender for Everyone, ending DEI, stopping Biden’s Record Setting Inflation, Biggest Regulation Cuts in History, stopping EIGHT WARS, rebuilding our Military, being RESPECTED by every Country in the World (as opposed to being the laughingstock that we were just 12 months ago!), having Trillions of Dollars (Record Setting!) INVESTED in the U.S.A., and having created the “HOTTEST” Country anywhere in the World from being a DEAD Country just 12 months ago (and so much more!), all I see “Wacky” Marjorie do is COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN! It seemed to all begin when I sent her a Poll stating that she should not run for Senator, or Governor, she was at 12%, and didn’t have a chance (unless, of course, she had my Endorsement — which she wasn’t about to get!). She has told many people that she is upset that I don’t return her phone calls anymore, but with 219 Congressmen/women, 53 U.S. Senators, 24 Cabinet Members, almost 200 Countries, and an otherwise normal life to lead, I can’t take a ranting Lunatic’s call every day. I understand that wonderful, Conservative people are thinking about primarying Marjorie in her District of Georgia, that they too are fed up with her and her antics and, if the right person runs, they will have my Complete and Unyielding Support. She has gone Far Left, even doing The View, with their Low IQ Republican hating Anchors. Thank you for your attention to this matter. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
In two more posts, Trump continued to slam MTG as a “traitor” and “lightweight.” He wrote:
“Lightweight Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Brown (Green grass turns Brown when it begins to ROT!), betrayed the entire Republican Party when she turned Left, performed poorly on the pathetic View, and became the RINO that we all know she always was. Just another Fake politician, no different than Rand Paul Jr. (Thomas Massie), who got caught being a full fledged Republican In Name Only (RINO)! MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!

Responding to Trump, MTG tweeted a lengthy caption with two screenshots of alleged text messages: one with Trump, and another with someone named “Natalie,” who’s allegedly Natalie Harp, a ‘close’ aide of President Trump. The post read:
“President Trump just attacked me and lied about me. I haven’t called him at all, but I did send these text messages today. Apparently this is what sent him over the edge. The Epstein files. And of course he’s coming after me hard to make an example to scare all the other Republicans before next weeks vote to release the Epstein files.
It’s astonishing really how hard he’s fighting to stop the Epstein files from coming out that he actually goes to this level. But really most Americans wish he would fight this hard to help the forgotten men and women of America who are fed up with foreign wars and foreign causes, are going broke trying to feed their families, and are losing hope of ever achieving the American dream. That’s what I voted for.
I have supported President Trump with too much of my precious time, too much of my own money, and fought harder for him even when almost all other Republicans turned their back and denounced him. But I don’t worship or serve Donald Trump. I worship God, Jesus is my savior, and I serve my district GA14 and the American people.
I remain the same today as I’ve always been and I will continue to pray this administration will be successful because the American people desperately deserve what they voted for. For me, I remain America First and America Only!!! ❤️🇺🇸”

Marjorie Taylor Greene Responds To Donald Trump Labeling Her A ‘Lightweight’ And ‘Traitor’ Amid Her Push To Release Jeffrey Epstein Files
On Saturday (November 15), MTG continued to speak out about Trump’s post. She wrote:
“Good morning. I want to thank everyone who texted and posted and commented support for me, you all are so kind and I appreciate, love, and support you too. I never thought that fighting to release the Epstein files, defending women who were victims of rape, and fighting to expose the web of rich powerful elites would have caused this, but here we are. And it truly speaks for itself. There needs to be a new way forward.
The toxic political industrial complex thrives on ripping us all apart but never delivers anything good for the American people, whom I love. The PIC tells us to hate each other, fundraises off why we have to hate each other, and pits Americans against each other to the point of violence and nearing civil war. This is all so wrong. We can have our own differences and differing opinions but we can still love and respect one another. We have far more in common than we have apart.
I believe in the American people more than I believe in any leader or political party and the American people deserve so much better than how they have been treated by both sides of the aisle. The way forward is America First America Only. And that may be the most dangerous pursuit of all. While responding to Trump’s name-calling, MTG claimed she’s been received threats on her life since the public severing of their ties by Trump.”
In another post, MTG claimed she was receiving threats against her safety. She wrote:
“I am now being contacted by private security firms with warnings for my safety as a hot bed of threats against me are being fueled and egged on by the most powerful man in the world. The man I supported and helped get elected. Aggressive rhetoric attacking me has historically led to death threats and multiple convictions of men who were radicalized by the same type rhetoric being directed at me right now. This time by the President of the United States.
As a woman I take threats from men seriously. I now have a small understanding of the fear and pressure the women, who are victims of Jeffrey Epstein and his cabal, must feel. As a Republican, who overwhelmingly votes for President Trump‘s bills and agenda, his aggression against me which also fuels the venomous nature of his radical internet trolls (many of whom are paid), this is completely shocking to everyone.
My phone is blowing up with constant amazing support. I’m so thankful! The Political Industrial Complex and the toxic violent nature of American politics must end. Our country is worth saving and it can only be done if we pull together and save ourselves.”
Finally, in a new interview with CNN, Marjorie Taylor Greene again responded to Donald Trump’s posts slamming her. She even apologized for her hand in “toxic politics.” She said:
“I think that’s fair criticism. And I would like to say humbly I’m sorry for taking part and the toxic politics. It’s very bad for our country. It’s been something I’ve thought about a lot, especially since Charlie Kirk was assassinated. I’m only responsible for myself and my own words and actions, and I’m committed—and I’ve been working on this a lot lately—to put down the knives in politics. I really just want to see people be kind to one another.”
MTG also shared more about her thoughts on the Epstein files, and more. Summarizing the clips she reposted, she first wrote:
“I stood with President Trump when almost no one else would. I campaigned for him all over this country and spent millions of my own dollars helping him get elected. That’s why being called a “traitor” isn’t just hurtful, it puts a target on my back and puts my life in danger. And it only divides our country even more. But even through this, I still support the Trump administration and want to see it succeed for the American people. I believe in transparency. That’s why I’ve pushed to release the Epstein files. Survivors deserve the truth, and I won’t apologize for standing with them.”
In another post, MTG wrote:
“The President said I criticized him because he pushed me not to run for Senate or governor in Georgia. That is absolutely not true. I have never had a conversation with President Trump about running for Senate or governor. Those decisions were completely my own. And after the past two months of the government shutdown, Americans saw exactly why I would never want to be in the Senate!! I also haven’t called him. White House logs would prove that. The only messages I posted were the ones I actually sent, asking him to get involved because the American people want the Epstein files released. That’s it.”
MTG continued to speak about the Epstein files. She wrote:
“The women I’ve talked to, over and over, have said President Trump did nothing wrong. Some even told me they voted for him. I have no idea what’s in the Epstein files, but they are the ones asking for them to be released. Their voices should be the loudest, and I’m listening to them!!
MTG continued to write:
“I can only speak for myself, but as a Christian, forgiveness is a major part of my faith. I’m here to show how it’s possible to settle our differences and move forward as Americans. That’s why I’m always willing to go on shows with different viewpoints. I truly believe in forgiveness and I am open to moving forward with the President.”
