Another wedding guest recorded the speech at the wedding of John and Megan Arrigo on Saturday in Mar-a-Lago. Trump was there as a wedding guest and gave his good wishes to the newlyweds during the speech but started to talk about Joe Biden and the 2020 Presidential Election. He compared Biden’s presidency to his own and mentioned the foreign policy deals between Iran and China plus the situation that is currently going on at the nation’s border.
The former president claims he was doing things perfectly in relation to separating families and placing them in detention centers, stating the conditions were more “humane” than they are now.

Currently, many detainees are over capacity at the detention centers at the United States/Mexico border and the conditions are inhumane for the most part. However, the Biden Administration has asked for government volunteers to help with the increased number of unaccompanied children in the centers.
“We are actively working to screen, process, and deploy these volunteers while continuing our recruitment efforts and exploration of other avenues to bolster staff resources at the border. ORR provides a continuum of care for children, including placements in ORR foster care, shelter, and residential care providers that provide temporary housing and other services to unaccompanied children in ORR custody,” McGettigan said. “ORR and its care providers work to ensure that children are released timely and safely from ORR custody to parents, other family members, or other adults … who can care for the child’s physical and mental well-being,” said the acting director of OPM, Kathleen McGettigan.
