In a statement released Wednesday, Donald Trump claimed the United States wouldn’t be able to get the vaccine for at least five years while continuing to refer to COVID-19 as the “China Virus.” It reads, “I hope everyone remembers when they’re getting the COVID-19 (often referred to as the China Virus) Vaccine, that if I wasn’t President, you wouldn’t be getting that beautiful ‘shot’ for 5 years, at best, and probably wouldn’t be getting it at all. I hope everyone remembers!”
According to the New York Post, Trump is still banned from Twitter permanently and all other social media platforms due to his role in the January 6 riots at the Capitol building. He sends his statements via email that reflect his old Twitter content.
