Donald Trump took the time to thank Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany for supporting him after she received tons of backlash for liking one of his social media posts. 

“I want to thank beautiful Brittany Mahomes for so strongly defending me, and the fact that MAGA is the greatest and most powerful Political Movement in the History of our now Failing Country,” Trump wrote on Truth Social Wednesday morning. “With Crime and Illegal Immigration totally out of control, INFLATION Ravaging all Americans, and a World that is laughing at the stupidity of our hapless ‘leaders,’ it is nice to see someone who loves our Country, and wants to save it from DOOM. What a great couple – See you both at the Super Bowl!”

As we previously shared, Brittany addressed the backlash she received on her Instagram account a few weeks back. In her post, she highlighted the “deep-rooted issues” some individuals seem to have, addressing the negativity directed towards her. “To be a hater as an adult, you have to have some deep-rooted issues you refuse to heal from childhood,” the message on Mahomes’ Instagram read. “There’s no reason your brain is fully developed and you hate to see others doing well.”

Media outlets such as Newsweek and The New York Post have covered the controversy surrounding Brittany Mahomes’ alleged social media interaction. Numerous accounts on X (formerly Twitter) circulated screenshots and screen recordings showing her Instagram handle linked to a post by Donald Trump.

The Instagram post from August 13 that Brittany Mahomes—wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes—was said to have liked features a square graphic outlining the “2024 GOP platform.” This graphic lists 20 of Trump’s key talking points as he campaigns for the upcoming November election.
