Tupac’s Sister Slams Donald Trump’s Attorney For Comparing Him To The Late Rapper And Biggie Ahead Of Arraignment

Ahead of Donald Trump’s arraignment this Tuesday, the former President’s attorney Alina Habba spoke about her client during an interview on The Benny Show podcast, where she compared him to late high-profile rappers Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac.

During her appearance, she suggested Trump’s indictment will boost his reputation just like it did in the cases of previous celebrities who served jail time. She said, “Donald Trump is Tupac. Donald Trump’s Biggie Smalls, he’s better than Tupac. I’m east coast, so I love Biggie.” She continued, “Donald Trump is his own brand. He is everything. This is just gonna boost him, we’ve seen it in the polls. It’s not a question, it’s a fact.”

Of course, her comment received backlash online from social media users but now Tupac Shakur’s sister, Set Shakur, is now expressing how the strange comparison did not sit well with her either. In a statement to TMZ, Set said, “My brother was measured by his integrity, his principles, and personal and collective responsibility.

[People] were able to measure him by his words and actions that aligned.” Set went on to say that, unlike Mr. Trump, her brother took accountability for his legal actions. She also noted that her brother did not rise to fame because of his criminal background but because of his talent and the music that he put out to the world.

More Donald Trump’s Legal Problems

As we previously reported, Donald Trump is set to surrender and be arraigned in a Manhattan courtroom on Tuesday, which will be an extraordinary scene that marks the first time in American history a former US president has faced criminal charges.

Trump first made the announcement last week that he would be arrested on Tuesday in a criminal case involving hush money payments to adult film star Stormy Daniels… even despite no official confirmation on the likelihood that charges will be brought.

He said at the time, “NOW ILLEGAL LEAKS FROM A CORRUPT & HIGHLY POLITICAL MANHATTAN DISTRICT ATTORNEYS OFFICE, WHICH HAS ALLOWED NEW RECORDS TO BE SET IN VIOLENT CRIME & WHOSE LEADER IS FUNDED BY GEORGE SOROS, INDICATE THAT, WITH NO CRIME BEING ABLE TO BE PROVEN, & BASED ON AN OLD & FULLY DEBUNKED (BY NUMEROUS OTHER PROSECUTORS!) FAIRYTALE, THE FAR & AWAY LEADING REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE & FORMER PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, WILL BE ARRESTED ON TUESDAY OF NEXT WEEK. PROTEST, TAKE OUR NATION BACK!”

Looks like he was right. Trump, who is the leading contender for the 2024 Republican nomination, will arrive today at the lower Manhattan courthouse as a criminal defendant and will be escorted by Secret Service agents.

Upon his arrival, Trump will be arraigned, fingerprinted, and possibly photographed. Although defendants charged with felonies are typically handcuffed, Trump’s legal team has said he would not be.

From there he would return to Florida where he will give a speech to his supporters.
