According to a report from the California Highway Patrol, cited by TMZ, the “After Party” rapper, born Caleb Zackery Toliver, was arrested on suspicion of DUI, but per the publication, the 29-year-old cooperated with police and things went smoothly during the incident.
A report from the California Highway Patrol, reviewed by TMZ, stated that the Houston rapper-singer-songwriter was pulled over by officers for speeding. Don Toliver’s DUI arrest occurred early Tuesday morning near Southern California’s San Fernando Valley. Officials claim they had reason to believe that he might have been impaired while driving his vehicle.

The report also states that officers looked for signs of suspected impairment, but they did not handcuff him. Instead of putting him in cuffs, officers opted to cite the rapper and release him back into the field. TMZ also said that at the time of publishing their report, officers did not explicitly mention in their report if another person was with him, but their law enforcement sources claim Toliver was released to the custody of another person who was with him and sober.
Again, it is currently unclear as to who that person was, however, TMZ’s law enforcement sources also noted that Toliver was completely cooperative the whole time, from being pulled over, arrested, cited, and released.

A month before before Don Toliver’s DUI arrest, he welcomed a baby with his longtime girlfriend, singer Kali Uchis, 30. Two months after the “Telepatía” singer announced her pregnancy, the couple welcomed their first baby together, a baby boy — whose name, Uchis claims will never be revealed. Responding to a fan wanting to know the baby boy’s name, the singer wrote, “We don’t plan to ever share his name 🤍.”
However, when speaking with TMZ in February, Don Toliver told them that he and Uchis were planning to give their baby a name that is a reflection of the both of them. Toliver said he thinks the baby should carry on the family’s name, but also wants their son’s mother to feel represented as well.
Taking to Instagram on March 14, Uchis, real name Karly-Marina Loaiza, shared footage of the couple and their newborn in the hospital. She captioned the post, “You are everything we could have hoped for & more. Thank you God for our beautiful healthy baby boy, & thank you all for the Good energy along the way. May our home & your homes forever be blessed with peace, happiness & health.”
