Djimon Hounsou On ‘A Quiet Place Part II!

In March of 2020, we were ready for “A Quiet Place Part II,” and then the pandemic hit and we were isolated and unable to experience the film on the big screen. Now, over a year later the film is finally set to hit theatres!

In anticipation of the release, we experienced a special screening and had the opportunity to speak to Oscar nominated actor, Djimon Hounsou.

The film starts right where the first one left off, and we are instantly immersed back into the story. The fight for survival is just as crucial as the first time, and it feels like there was no gap in time between the two films. As we spoke to Dijmon, he revealed what it was like going through the start of a pandemic just as the film was supposed to be released, with certain themes in the movie mirroring true-life events.

While not a horror movie fan, Hounsou gives us the lowdown on what it is like to fill a scary flick, and it’s not as scar as you’d think, he reveals he is not a fan of horror himself, but what is seen on screen luckily isn’t as scary to act out!
