DJ Mustard’s lengthy court battle with his ex-wife Chanel may soon be coming to an end after the couple came to a temporary agreement pertaining to child support. As we previously reported, Mustard filed for divorce from Chanel back in May 2022, and over the past few months, the two have been trying to work out how much Chanel should be entitled to regarding monthly child support payments.

The pair, who share three children — Kiylan, Kauner, and Kody — were at odds after Chanel requested that the famous producer pays her $80k a month. According to Radar Online, the pair informed the court on Tuesday that they’ve since come to an agreement that will temporarily see Mustard pay Chanel $19k a month under a Voluntary Settlement Conference starting this month.

The publication notes that a hearing for Chanel’s motion has been postponed for the time being while Mustard’s legal team is in the process of sending over the requested financial documents to Chanel’s attorneys. Per their current agreement, the two will share joint legal custody and joint physical custody of their three children on a week on/week off schedule.

Last month, Chanel wrote in court documents that she and Mustard also had a pre-marital agreement in place before the pair tied the knot in 2020 that granted her to receive spousal support in the amount of $35,000 a month should the couple decide to split.

Given that she hadn’t received any of that money, her legal team is asking Mustard to pay up any outstanding payments dating back to June 2022.

In response to her request, Mustard asked the court to “reserve jurisdiction over all other subject matter issues of the marriage, including but not limited to, child custody and visitation, child support, spousal support, division of community property assets and liabilities, confirmation of separate property assets and liabilities, reimbursement claims, and attorney and expert fees and costs, and all other matters which the Court determines appropriate and within the scope of the jurisdiction.”

Chanel believes that Mustard’s net worth currently stands upwards of $12 million thanks to his incredibly successful music career. Once he turns over his financial documents, they will revise the amount in child and spousal support he will pay, but it seems the case will soon be nearing an end.
