A disturbing trend on TikTok has emerged as users detailed how they would hypothetically kill their dates in various scenarios.

Thousands of videos have popped up on TikTok where users describe how they would “kill” their dates in various situations with Frank Ocean’s “Lost” playing in the background. The beginning of each video shows the individual with the text, starting with “imagine” and adding a detailed description of the date then ending with “and you f**king die.” One video said, “Imagine I just took you to see a sunset and we made a fire. But then I set u on fire and then u died. Lol.” Another video clip described, “Imagine me asking you to sleep over and when we finally get comfy, I just slit your throat.” Most of the participants of this trend are young men.

Although the platform has removed the videos on a daily basis, new ones continue to be uploaded. However, other TikTok users are spreading awareness about the horrific trend by posting articles that are similar to the scenarios that are claimed to be a “joke”
