A huge fire broke out at Disneyland in Anaheim on Saturday evening as packed crowds were watching a Fantasmic performance at the theme park. Videos began circulating on Twitter of a 45ft prop dragon catching fire as people were evacuated from the scene, with officials telling customers the show could not continue due to “unforeseen circumstances.”
As seen in footage posted online, the flames first ignited from the dragon’s face before it rapidly began to spread down to the rest of its body, with huge clouds of smoke covering the waterfront viewing area. Firefighters were said to have been rushed to the theme park’s Tom Sawyer Island to extinguish the flames, and fortunately, there were no reports of any injuries during the incident.
