DISNEY AND PIXAR’S “TURNING RED” BRINGS OUT HOLLYWOOD STARS FOR FEEL-GOOD FILM

#Socilaites we were in the building as stars, filmmakers and special guests came together tonight at Hollywood’s El Capitan Theatre to celebrate Pixar Animation Studios’ 25th feature film “Turning Red.”

Members of the voice cast in attendance include Rosalie Chiang (Mei), Sandra Oh (Ming), Ava Morse (Miriam), Hyein Park (Abby), Maitreyi Ramakrishnan (Priya), Tristan Allerick Chen (Tyler), Mia Tagano (Lily), Sherry Cola (Helen), Topher Ngo (Aaron T.), Grayson Villanueva (Tae Young), Josh Levi (Aaron Z.), Addison Chandler (Devon) and Lily Sanfelippo (Stacy Frick). Joining them were filmmakers Domee Shi (directed by/story by/screenplay by), Lindsey Collins (producer), Dan Scanlon (EP), Pete Docter (EP), Julia Cho (story by/screenplay by), Billie Eilish (original songs by), and Ludwig Göransson (original score by).

Disney and Pixar’s “Turning Red” follows Mei Lee, a confident, dorky 13-year-old torn between staying her mother’s dutiful daughter and the chaos of adolescence. Her protective, if not slightly overbearing mother, Ming, is never far from her daughter—an unfortunate reality for the teenager. And as if changes to her interests, relationships and body weren’t enough, whenever she gets too excited (which is practically ALWAYS), she “poofs” into a giant red panda!  Streaming exclusively on Disney+ beginning March 11, 2022, Disney and Pixar’s “Turning Red” is directed by Academy Award® winner Domee Shi (Pixar short “Bao”) and produced by Lindsey Collins (“Finding Dory”).

The feel-good animation has plenty of laughs and a life lesson learned that we can all relate to, not to mention some very relatable moments that we take home with us.

#Socialites Make sure you catch “Turning Red” as it streams on Disney+ beginning March 11, 2022.
