#Socialites, Dillon Brooks Says His Ex Threatened to Mutilate Him Over Basketball
NBA star Dillon Brooks is now in the middle of some disturbing headlines, and it ain’t got nothing to do with the court—at least not the one with a basketball hoop. Just days after being traded from the Houston Rockets to the Phoenix Suns in a blockbuster deal that involved Kevin Durant, Brooks is seeking legal protection.
According to TMZ Sports, the NBA forward filed a restraining order in Los Angeles on Wednesday against his ex-girlfriend Heather Andrews. In the court documents, Brooks claims she harassed him repeatedly and made violent threats—including one message where she allegedly said she’d have someone cut off his fingers so he’d never play ball again.
“I’ll habe [sic] someone cut each one of your f–king little fingers off one by one… So you can never play basketball LOL… And actually now I understand why people are racist,” Andrews allegedly wrote in a message that’s now gone viral.
From Vegas Club Vibes to Courtroom Tensions
The drama reportedly started back in 2018 when Brooks and Andrews first linked up at a nightclub in Las Vegas. Things were all good until she got pregnant with their first child, and Brooks says that’s when the harassment began.
He told TMZ that Andrews started sending “emotionally abusive” messages to him on the regular. Not only did the messages tear into his character, but some were also made public, apparently with the intention to damage his career.
Things got worse as they prepared for baby number two. Brooks says Andrews turned up the pressure, threatening him personally and professionally. “She referenced various different ways that she was going to hurt me either personally, professionally, or both,” he said.
This ain’t just toxic texts, either. It’s deeper than that.
Brooks Says His Mama Was Threatened Too
It’s one thing to come for a man’s career, but Brooks says Andrews went after his mama too. He claims she sent a threatening message saying, “I’ll send someone after your mom to [sic] bitch.”
At this point, Brooks says it wasn’t just about protecting himself—it was about protecting his family.
Even more concerning, Brooks says his ex accessed his OurFamilyWizard co-parenting app account without permission. According to the documents, she then sent herself a threatening message and made it look like it came from him. If true, that’s a calculated and dangerous move.
Dillon Brooks Accuses His Ex of Vandalism and Digital Manipulation
Let’s not forget about the alleged vandalism. Brooks says back in 2022, Andrews came to his property and wrote “You Suck Bitch” on an outdoor mantle. That’s not a prank—that’s harassment.
TMZ also reports that Brooks believes she’s been manipulating their digital co-parenting records. He says Andrews tried to set him up by faking messages to herself—making him look like a criminal.
While he didn’t detail every single instance of harassment, the documents suggest this has been ongoing and emotionally taxing for years.
