Diddy may have settled his sexual assault lawsuit that was filed by Cassie but more shocking details continue to spill out!
Roger Bonds, the Bad Boy Records founder’s former bodyguard has broken his silence after being mentioned in the lawsuit. In a since-expired post to his personal Instagram, he shared that he was ready to speak out and made it clear that his message shouldn’t be misconstrued as a “threat” or “snitching” against either Cassie or Diddy. “This is not meant to be threats or snitching or anything like that against Cassie or Diddy or anyone else,” Bonds wrote last week. “This is me telling my truth as I truly remember it for 2 reasons only, 1st because I have 4 daughters so on all dudes my truth as I seen it, saw it, and was involved with for yrs.”
In the lawsuit she filed against Diddy, Cassie named Roger, as she alleged he jumped in to stop Diddy from stomping on her car and attacking her back in 2009 in Los Angeles.
In a new follow-up post this Wednesday, Rogers claims what Cassie went through with Diddy was just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Diddy’s alleged abuse.
“There comes a time when you’re in a situation that might seem like a good situation, but if you not waking up happy, or if you disgruntled, or you really don’t want to be around that person, you’ll find every excuse to get out of there.” In his case, he said, he used his diabetes to avoid Combs.
He added, “My excuse was, ‘I can’t be with you every day. I can’t do this. I can’t do that. I’m losing weight. I’m doing that,’” Bonds said before directing his words to his former boss. “But in reality it was, I was sick. I was sick of you. I was sick of everything that was going on around you. I was sick of having to cover up everything that you did.”
Addressing his appearance in the lawsuit in reference to his own issues with Combs, Bonds went on to say, “Cassie spoke on it. … I jumped in between it. That wasn’t the only time. It was other times. And there was other people.”
More On Cassie And Diddy’s Lawsuit:
As we previously reported, just 24 hours after Cassie filed, the former couple settled the case. In her own statement at the time, Ventura said, “I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control. I want to thank my family, fans, and lawyers for their unwavering support.”
Meanwhile, Ben Brafman, shared a statement after the lawsuit was settled. Brafman wrote, “Just so we’re clear, a decision to settle a lawsuit, especially in 2023, is in no way an admission of wrongdoing. Mr. Combs’ decision to settle the lawsuit does not in any way undermine his flat-out denial of the claims. He is happy they got to a mutual settlement and wishes Ms. Ventura the best.”
Since then, Diddy has been hit with two more lawsuits for sexual assault with shocking allegations that he has also denied.
