More On Diddy:

Of course, this development comes at a precarious time for Mr. Combs, as he’s under heavy federal scrutiny for various allegations including sex trafficking and illegal possession of firearms.

The searches were part of an ongoing sex trafficking investigation by federal authorities in New York, according to law enforcement sources. Combs was not detained and spoke to authorities. His son’s Justin and Christian Combs who were detained neither were also not arrested, nor has their travel been restricted.

Diddy, who’s facing a mountain of sexual assault lawsuits released a statement following the unexpected raids. The mogul’s attorney Aaron Dyer said at the time, “There was a gross overuse of military-level force as search warrants were executed at Mr. Combs’ residences. There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated.”

Dyer added that the “unprecedented ambush” has led to a “premature rush to judgment of Mr. Combs and is nothing more than a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits.” Furthermore, he said “There has been no finding of criminal or civil liability with any of these allegations,” Dyer noted. “Mr. Combs is innocent and will continue to fight every single day to clear his name.”
