Brendan Paul, who was accused of being Diddy’s “drug mule” was arraigned in a Miami-Dade County Courtroom on Wednesday.

According to NBC Miami, Paul was officially charged with cocaine possession after being arrested at a Miami airport last month. However, Paul was not present in the courtroom today but his attorney showed up on his behalf and entered a not-guilty plea for him. As we previously reported, 25-year-old Brendan Paul was taken into custody on March 26 on the same day that federal agents raided the mogul’s Los Angeles and Miami homes.

This situation came to light after music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, stated in his lawsuit that the 25-year-old man was Diddy’s drug mule where he alleged that Paul would “acquire and distribute Mr. Combs drugs and guns.” On the day Paul was arrested by authorities it was reported that he had “the contraband inside his travel bags … [and] the suspects cocaine was located and tested.”

The internet was in shambles when Diddy’s homes were raided. It made a big discussion online about the excessive force that was used on the people inside Diddy’s Los Angeles house which included his sons Christian and Justin Combs. Even though neither of them has publicly addressed the incident it was very clear that Justin’s mother was extremely upset with the authorities that raided the house on that day.

A couple of weeks after the raid went down Justin’s mother took to her Instagram account and slammed the federal agents for using excessive force on Christian and Justin.

“The over zealous and overtly militarized force used against my sons Justin and Christian is deplorable. If these were the sons of a non-Black celebrity, they would not have been handled with the same aggression. The attempt to humiliate and terrorize these innocent young BLACK MEN is despicable!”

“Enough is Enough! Did Justin need several laser beams from firearms pointed at his chest?? Did Christian need a gun pointed at the back of his head while he was handcuffed?? How many times have we seen young UNARMED BLACK MEN not make it out of these types of situations alive??”

“My son’s Attorney Jeffrey Lichtman is investigating the excessive use of force which was unnecessary and certainly not required by this search warrant. We will fight for justice utilizing every imaginable resource. I’m not with the propaganda!!!!”

News of this federal investigation into Diddy comes after public scrutiny of the mogul’s behavior after his former romantic partner, Cassie, accused him of physically and sexually abusing her for years. She made the allegations in a lawsuit filed in New York under the New York Adult Survivors Act, which offered a one-year window for adult victims of sexual assault to come forward with civil claims regardless of the statute of limitations; which led multiple women to start coming forward.
