Suge Knight believes that Diddy is experiencing drug withdrawal symptoms during his time behind bars.

On Monday, September 23, Suge Knight participated in a phone interview with journalist Chris Cuomo on NewsNation. During the conversation, the former head of Death Row Records addressed Diddy’s recent indictment on charges including sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation for the purpose of prostitution, highlighting that Puff could potentially face a life sentence.

“Nobody’s stepping up [to defend him] for the fact that you know what’s going on,” Suge said in the video. Suge expressed his belief that Diddy is unlikely to snitch on others, citing the rapper’s connections with powerful individuals. However, he also suggested that the founder of Bad Boy Records may be struggling in jail, possibly due to his reported history of drug use. “I don’t think nobody is counting him out. I don’t think he’s going to crawl in a corner and die,” Suge added. “He’s probably going through a lot of sh*t right now because he probably going through a lot of withdrawals from the drugs. But the industry got him on drugs.”

In a later interview on Tuesday, September 24, Diddy’s former attorney, Mark Geragos, dismissed the allegations made by Suge Knight.

“There’s no indication in the indictment that any of that is true,” Geragos, whose daughter is on Diddy’s current legal team, said in the video below. “I don’t think Suge has any insite into anything that has happened within the last 10 years, other than the usual conspiracy scuttlebutt.”

Suge Knight has openly discussed Diddy’s legal troubles even before the rapper’s arrest on September 16. After raids were conducted at Diddy’s residences in Los Angeles and Miami in March, Suge claimed that the founder of Bad Boy Entertainment is at risk due to the sensitive information he possesses. In June, Suge expressed his belief that Diddy may be working as an informant for the FBI.

“It’s a lot of things that people been knowing, and everybody gets judged differently,” Suge said. “It shouldn’t be a grey area when it comes to doing something right, doing something positive, or doing something for the community. That being said, naturally, Puffy been an FBI informant forever, as they would say. That’s why it’s different when it comes to him.”
