Sean “Diddy” Combs is once again facing another lawsuit. This time around, the business mogul has been sued by a woman identified as Jane Doe, who claims he raped her under threat of violence in 2004.
The lawsuit, filed by Houston lawyer Tony Buzbee, marks the beginning of a series of complaints against Combs, with plans to file a total of six additional lawsuits involving claims from three women and three men. This current lawsuit details a disturbing encounter that took place when the plaintiff was a 19-year-old college student. She alleges that after being invited to an afterparty at Combs’ Manhattan hotel, she and her friend were isolated by members of Combs’ entourage and pressured into consuming alcohol and drugs before enduring sexual assault.

The allegations made in this lawsuit are not isolated, as they fall within a larger pattern of claims against Combs that span nearly two decades, from 2004 to 2021. The plaintiff’s account details how Combs allegedly became increasingly aggressive, ultimately forcing her to undress and assaulting her while she begged him to stop. “Once she was undressed, Combs forced himself on her and began to sexually assault her. Combs fondled, molested, and ultimately raped Ms. Doe, all while she was begging him to stop,” the lawsuit states. The woman recalled the door opening at some point, possibly due to the cries. When the security guard who brought them in asked if they were ok, that’s when her friend fled right out of the room. Sadly, the Jane Doe claims she was unable to leave as Diddy was allegedly still on top of her.
Diddy eventually got up and talked to the security guard. But she was ordered to sit in the dark room by herself. She claimed Diddy told her to stay … threatening to kill her if she left. Eventually, a different security guard came and told her she could leave. That’s when collected her things and stormed out and into a taxi to get back to her dorm.
Years later, she’s now suing and wants a jury trial. In the suit, Bad Boy corporations and Marriott International are also involved as Buzbee says Marriott management was well aware of Diddy’s activities and simply “looked the other way” rather than intervene.
The legal troubles for Combs have escalated rapidly, especially following a high-profile indictment that includes charges of racketeering and sex trafficking. Prosecutors have painted a grim picture of Combs as the leader of a criminal enterprise that engaged in acts of sexual violence and coercion.
