Sean “Diddy” Combs is once again at the center of legal drama. According to a fresh lawsuit, the hip-hop mogul’s former stylist Deonte Nash says he endured years of horrific abuse — and now, he’s ready to hold Combs accountable in court. As Hollywood Unlocked previously reported, Diddy’s name has been tied to multiple legal battles this year, and this latest filing only adds fuel to the fire.

Details Of The Lawsuit Against Diddy

Nash filed the lawsuit in Los Angeles, laying out 11 separate allegations against Diddy, including assault, battery, sexual battery, and human trafficking. The court filing accuses the music mogul of running what Nash described as a “nightmare” that stretched over a decade. He says he was subjected to unreasonable demands, forced loyalty tests, manipulation, sexual harassment, sexual assaults, physical violence, threats of harm, and even death threats.

According to Nash’s legal team at Singleton Schreiber, the abuse left him scarred and living in constant fear. Though Nash stopped working for Combs around 2018, his lawyers allege the threats didn’t stop there. They say Nash was still too afraid to move forward with his life and remained silent until he was forced to testify in Combs’ recent federal trial.

During that trial, which lasted eight weeks, Combs was acquitted on racketeering and sex trafficking charges. However, he was convicted on two counts of interstate prostitution and is set to be sentenced on Oct. 3. While Diddy pleaded not guilty to all charges, this new lawsuit shows the legal storm around him is far from over.

Testimony From The Federal Trial

Nash’s testimony during the federal trial played a critical role in putting Combs under the spotlight. He told the court about the years of abuse he endured while working as Diddy’s personal stylist. At the time, Nash made it clear he was not planning to sue. “I’m focused on getting out of here,” he told a defense lawyer during cross-examination.

But since then, Nash says his perspective has changed. “I finally found the courage during the criminal trial, and I am now ready to take action,” he explained in a statement. He went on to say Combs has “never taken accountability for the years of harm he inflicted on me and so many others.”

Nash also said, “Today, I am free from the confinement his abuse imposed, and I have reclaimed my voice. It is time for the world to confront the truth about the horrific abuse I endured and the lasting impact of Mr. Combs’ actions on my life.”

Diddy’s Legal Team Responds To The Claims

Diddy’s attorney Erica Wolff wasted no time firing back at the new allegations. In a statement to NBC News, Wolff dismissed Nash’s lawsuit as another cash grab. “Another opportunist looking to profit off his proximity to a celebrity,” she said.

She added, “In court, the truth will prevail, as it did in his criminal trial: that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone — adult or minor, man or woman. Mr. Combs looks forward to clearing his name again in a court of law where truth matters.”

While Diddy’s legal team insists the claims are false, Nash’s attorneys argue that this is not about money or fame but about justice. His lawyers are seeking compensatory and punitive damages, emotional distress damages, lost wages, and lawsuit costs.

The Lasting Impact On Deonte Nash

For Nash, the lawsuit represents more than just a legal move — it’s a personal turning point. His lawyer Katie Llamas said her client “still fears for his safety every day.” She explained, “Had he not been subpoenaed and forced to testify in Mr. Combs’ criminal trial, he likely would never have come forward.”

Nash is now using the lawsuit to reclaim his life and shine a light on what he says is a pattern of unchecked abuse in the industry. His story echoes the larger conversation around power, accountability, and survival in entertainment. For Nash, it’s about closure. For Combs, it’s yet another battle that could damage what’s left of his legacy.
