Diddy is claiming that federal prosecutors used unfair tactics by showing the judge an edited video of the incident with Cassie, making him seem like a dangerous man.

According to a new report by TMZ, Diddy and his lawyers submitted new documents before his bail hearing which is set for Friday, alleging that prosecutors misrepresented key information and hid important details, including claims of editing the timeline in the March 2016 surveillance footage. They argue that the government possesses the full version of the surveillance video—likely the one that was publicly released—but instead, altered the sequence of events to present what they consider their strongest evidence of threat and obstruction.

Regarding the violence shown in the video, Diddy asserts that he did not “drag” Cassie down the hallway or throw a vase at her. Instead, he claims he only threw the contents of the vase in her direction.

He describes the video as merely a “sad glimpse into a decade-long consensual relationship” and insists it does not indicate any coercion or involvement in sex trafficking.

Diddy’s main claim is that prosecutors are attempting to portray him as more dangerous than he really is in order to persuade the judge to keep him in custody until his trial.
