In alleged text messages shown in court on Monday (June 16), Diddy allegedly asked Cassie to “celebrate Christmas” with a “freak-off” party.
Diddy’s federal sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy (RICO) case in Manhattan, New York has entered its 24th day in court. As the case continues, on Monday (June 16), the jury saw some alleged text messages exchanged between Sean “Diddy” Combs and his then-girlfriend Casandra “Cassie” Ventura. The alleged texts reportedly date back to January 2013.
In one of the messages, the Bad Boy Records mogul allegedly asked the singer if she wanted to have a late Christmas celebration with him by engaging in an alleged “freak-off” party.

Diddy Allegedly Asked Cassie To Celebrate A Late Christmas With Him And Several Male Escorts In Staggered ‘Freak-Off’ Party
As we’ve previously shared, these alleged sex sessions have come up in several witnesses’ testimonies and allegedly involved long, drug and alcohol-filled sex marathons in hotels with hired male escorts performing various extreme sex acts. During Cassie’s testimony, she mentioned the alleged freak-offs, along with allegations of abuse, coercion, and more.
In one of the alleged texts from January 2013, Diddy allegedly asked Cassie, “You horny?” She allegedly replied, “Lol yeah.” He continued to allegedly ask, “Would you wanna celebrate Christmas and have a freak-off tonight or Friday?” The jury then reportedly saw alleged texts between Cassie, alleged male sex workers, and a man who allegedly ran an escort service.
According to TMZ, the alleged texts reportedly showed Cassie allegedly setting up the alleged “freak-offs” and staggering the arrival times of the various male escorts to show up at the hotel. The publication also reported that Diddy allegedly sent a message to Cassie about other Christmas presents that he had waiting for her.
Elsewhere in the hearing on Monday (June 16), the jury also saw Diddy’s alleged logistics and plans for his alleged “freak-off” sex parties. These included cleanup directions, instructions on how to book the hotels, and other details for the alleged sex sessions.

Judge In Diddy’s Sex Case Dismisses Black Male Juror Leaving Defense To File Third Motion For Mistrial
Additionally, on Monday (June 16), the judge in Diddy’s trial dismissed a Black male juror for giving court officials conflicting statements about his place of residence. The man allegedly said hew lived in the Bronx, New York on some occasions, and in others, he said he resided in New Jersey.
The latest move and key development in Diddy’s federal sex case led to Diddy’s defense team filing a third motion for mistrial. Diddy’s legal first filed a motion for mistrial at the end of May. The filing arrived after prosecutors asked Los Angeles Fire Department arson investigator Lance Jimenez if anyone destroyed fingerprint evidence related to the bombing of rapper Kid Cudi‘s car. Prosecutors also asked about who might have authorized the destruction.
A judge denied the first motion, leading to a second filing two weeks later in early June. Diddy’s team accused the prosecution of presenting false testimony from witness Bryana Bongolan, a close friend of Cassie. Bongolan testified that Diddy once allegedly dangled her over the 17th-floor balcony at Cassie’s home in 2016. Judge Arun Subramanian ruled that the defense was not prejudiced by Bongolan’s testimony because they were able to conduct a vigorous cross-examination of her, specifically related to the timing of the alleged balcony incident.
