#Socialites, come get into this; The U.S. Department of Homeland Security is upping the ante in its latest immigration enforcement push…

On Monday, DHS announced it is increasing its financial incentive for undocumented migrants who voluntarily leave the United States, raising the offer from $1,000 to $3,000 for those who self-deport by the end of 2025.

The announcement was shared directly by DHS on X, with a message that left little room for interpretation:

“$3,000 TO LEAVE NOW. In addition to a free flight home, illegal aliens can sign up to self-deport through the CBP Home app by the end of the year to receive a $3,000 stipend once they return. If you do not self-deport, we will find you, we will arrest you, and you will never be able to return to the United States.”

According to the department, the increase is temporary and part of what it described as a holiday push aimed at encouraging voluntary departures before the end of the year.

Beyond the cash incentive and free flight, DHS says the program includes additional relief for participants. Individuals who self-deport using the CBP Home app may also qualify for forgiveness of certain civil fines or penalties connected to previously failing to leave the country when required.

The move comes as immigration enforcement remains front and center for the current administration. Since returning to office, Donald Trump has made immigration his top priority, repeatedly signaling a hardline approach that combines incentives for voluntary compliance with aggressive enforcement for those who remain.

In short, DHS is making the choice painfully clear: take the money and leave now, or face arrest and permanent barriers to returning later. Whether the higher payout actually drives large-scale participation remains to be seen, but the message itself is unmistakably blunt.
