TMZ reports that officers are facing multiple obstacles within the murder investigation and there are no reliable witnesses who are neautral. There was no one was outside of the property at the time of Pop Smoke’s murder, so police have no unbiased leads. They are also struggling with the bicoastal nature of the case and have to talk to people from both Los Angeles and New York for information.

Sources state that most people are refusing to talk to the police, and those that do are providing unreliable information that is not true. Police are wasting time going through false leads and information on the internet isn’t helping.

Investigators are also clueless about the motive of the crime. Reports initially stated it was a robbery, but then it was changed to a targeted hit. However, investigators state that there is a host of conflicting evidence that prevents them from uncovering the true motive of the murder.

Police did not that Pop Smoke was alone in one part of the home when the suspects found him. He was the only person who was shot at and died from two shots to his torso. He was just 20-years-old.
