Atlanta rapper, Dess Dior’s father has pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl. According to The North Carolina Beat, Darrell Lawrence Bailey received a life sentence with the possibility of parole after pleading guilty to the charges.
The news publication also interviewed the victims mother and she reportedly explained how Dess Dior’s father wasn’t a stranger to her family. Alexis Ellis, the mother of the victim revealed that she met Darrell back in 2020 while working at Home Depot together. The report also states that their relationship was amicable but Alexis opened up to Darrell and told him how she wanted to get away from a man that she was dealing with at the time and Darrell made an offer for her and her kids to move in with him. Sadly, in February 2023, that’s when Darrell sexually assaulted Alexis’ 14-year-old daughter in her own room.
Asistant District Attorney Kayla Kudratt, a Henry County prosecutor, provided a detailed account of what Darrell did to Alexis’s 14-year-old daughter. On February 23rd the prosecutor stated Darrell watched Alexis’ kids while she attended a funeral. According to the report, Alexis thought that Darrell would be going to work and leave the kids at home by themselves during the day time but for some odd reason Darrell didn’t go to work that day.
Darrell reportedly moved a mattress an into the living room so Alexis’ other kids could sleep out there while he sexually assaulted the girl in his room.

The prosecutor also stated that if the case would’ve went to trial there was evidence to show Darrell confessing to the things he did. The prosecutor continued to say that the girl begged Darrell to stop but he wouldn’t. He then inserted his penis inside her va*ina as she told him to stop. He whispered, “Shhh, it’s okay. I know… I know, just take it.”
