New details are coming out about Desiigner’s masturbation case! As we previously reported, Desiigner had been in Thailand to perform at the Rolling Loud festival and was traveling back on a plane when staff noticed his strange behavior. They claim he exposed himself to a flight attendant. As the plane landed in Minneapolis, he was reportedly met by cops who questioned him.
Now in a new report by TMZ, Desiigner allegedly admitted to breaking the terms of his pretrial release and because of that the rapper is now facing possible jail time. The news outlet obtained documents where Desiigner’s probation officer told the court that the rapper admitted to using marijuana and didn’t show up for a drug test back in July. Now his probation officer is looking for the judge to see if his pretrial release should be revoked, according the report.
As we previously shared, Desiigner did make a public apology for the incident. “For the past few months I have not been OK, and I have been struggling to come to terms with what is going on,” Desiigner shared on Instagram. “While overseas for a concert I performed at, I had to be admitted in to a hospital, I was not thinking clearly. They gave me meds, and I had to hop on a plane home. I am ashamed of my actions that happened on that plane,” he added. “I landed back to the states, and am admitting my self in a facility to help me. I will be cancelling all shows and any obligations until further notice. Mental health is real guys, please pray for me. If [you’re] not feeling like yourself please get help,” he concluded.
In a message to his fans he also wrote: “I turned 26 and I want to thank y’all for holding me down. I admitted myself into a facility last week to focus on my mental health. He said.”
He went on to tell his fans how he planned to drop some new music, but he can’t promote it the way he would like to. “I planned to release TIMMY TURNER 2 this week as a surprise to my fans. I recorded this jank awhile ago and it reflects on where I been at mentally over the past year.
As my birthday gift to y’all I asked my team to put a song out this Friday. Sorry I can’t promote it the way I like to because I’m off the grid, but I just want to give you some new music while I take time away to become a better me.
I’m going through a tough time right now but I won’t let my struggles define who I am. I will come back stronger and make more music that connects with all of you on a deeper level. For those of you dealing with mental health issues, it’s okay to ask for help.”
