Blac Chyna, known as Angela White, is set to marry rapper Derrick Milano. Derrick popped the question during the homecoming festivities at Howard University on Friday, October 18.
A video shared on X, previously Twitter, captured the moment as Derrick stood on stage rocking a white graphic tee, jeans, and a hat. He invited Chyna up to the stage, got down on one knee, and proposed, which led to cheers of excitement from the crowd. Chyna looked stunning in a long black trench coat paired with black heels, and her hair was styled in all blue.
Chyna accepted his proposal with a heartfelt “yes,” and they sealed the moment with a kiss, followed by a passionate hug. The video captured Chyna wiping away tears of joy as Derrick leaned in to whisper something in her ear. He then slid the ring onto her finger, and she proudly showed it off to the cheering crowd at Howard University.

Derrick and Chyna have been in a relationship for more than a year. They made their romance official in September 2023, although Chyna revealed that they started dating back in May of that same year through a video she shared on Instagram to celebrate their love. In the post, she captioned: “Happy 1 year anniversary @derrickmilano. Reflecting on a year of pure magic and joy with you, my dearest Derrick. Your love, support, and friendship have filled my life with light and warmth. Thank you for showing me the true meaning of love. Here’s to countless more years of love and togetherness. I cherish you always.”
This marks Chyna’s third engagement. She was previously engaged to Tyga, the father of her son King Cairo, in October 2012, and later to Rob Kardashian, the father of her daughter Dream, in April 2016. However, neither of those engagements resulted in her walking down the aisle.
Last year, Chyna underwent a significant transformation, announcing that she had eliminated her facial fillers and butt injections. Seeking to embark on a new chapter in her life, she also began using her real name.
