The legal documents claim Cosby got the prescription from a gynecologist at a poker game with the intention of giving the pills to women in hopes of having sex. However, Cosby admitted he never consumed a single white and round pill himself.
According to TMZ, the bombshell admission arrived as part of a sealed deposition Cosby, 88, gave in a lawsuit filed by one of his rape accusers, Donna Motsinger, ~ 83. In the legal docs, Cosby claimed OBGYN Dr. Leroy Amar, prescribed him the quaaludes at a poker table.
The new court documents describe Dr. Amar as a “disgraced” gyno. He became friends with Cosby after meeting at a poker game hosted at the comedian-actor’s Los Angeles home prior to 1972. Furthermore, TMZ, Dr. Amar had his license revoked in California in 1979.

Bill Cosby Facing Drugging And Raping Lawsuit By Donna Motsinger
As we previously shared in September 2023, Motsinger sued Cosby for allegedly drugging and raping her in 1972. She previously came forward in 2014 with similar allegations against Cosby, but in 2023, she filed a formal lawsuit.
At the time of the alleged incident, Motsinger claims she was 26 and he was 33 when she worked as a server at Trident restaurant in Sausalito, California. She claimed while working at the restaurant Cosby would come often just to see her. One day, he allegedly invited her to be his plus one at the Circle Star Theater in San Carlos.
In her complaint, Motsinger alleged Cosby picked her up in a limo and when she got in, he gave her some wine. Once they arrived at their destination, she went to his dressing room, where she began to feel sick.
She alleged Cosby offered her a pill, which she believed was an aspirin. After swallowing the pill, she claimed she began to fall in and out of consciousness. She only recalled his team putting her back in the limo and waking up the next day in her home, with nothing on, but her panties.
She said she “knew she had been drugged and raped by Bill Cosby.” Since the alleged abuse, Motsinger said she has suffered mental, physical, and emotional distress as she seeks damages from Cosby. However, at the time, Cosby’s team told TMZ they had “No comment at this present time because this is utterly ridiculous and pointless.”
Since Motsinger’s initial complaint, Cosby has been fighting to get her lawsuit dismissed. However, she stands by her story and continues to fight as well.
