A new trend is emerging on TikTok just in time for Halloween but dentists are advising users not to participate if they care about their health.

Several dentists are warning TikTokers to stop using nail glue aka “super glue” to bond false vampire teeth onto their real teeth. Videos of the procedure are going viral on the popular platform after users stated they couldn’t remove their fangs. As advised, dentists have entered comments saying the first thing you should do is seek dental attention immediately.
For instance, if a person yanks the false tooth out, your actual tooth can come out with it or cause a fracture. It can also damage the enamel.

They also said if you can’t receive help immediately, wait until the teeth fall off naturally and brush your teeth gently while using water to rinse the adhesive out.
“If you’re using acrylic nails as your fangs use a denture glue. It’s going to be safe and easy to take off. You can also use ortho wax. This is not gonna stay the whole time but it’s safe and good for pictures.”
